- If your collection is less than 24 hours late, please leave your bins out.
- If it’s over 48 hours late, please report it to SWISCo
Where is the tip (recycling centre)
Find out where the household waste and recycling centre (tip) is and when it is open.
Please book a slot before visiting the recycling centre.
The recycling centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day but is open on Bank Holidays.
Cars are allowed to visit Monday to Saturday.
Trailers that are 2 meters or less in length can be used to bring waste or recycling to the site. Where a trailer is used you can only bring the equivalent amount of waste that would fit inside a family car. A trailer attached to a vehicle, where both the trailer and the vehicle are carrying waste will not be accepted.
Vans are allowed to visit Monday to Saturday. Please note vans can only bring the equivalent amount of waste that would fit inside a family car. They should not be used to bring commercial waste to the Recycling Centre.
Last entry into the Recycling Centre is 15 minutes before closing time!
