Torbay Local Plan Update (2025 to 2045): A Landscape to Thrive.

Our Local Plan (Regulation 18) consultation closed on 2 February. We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to get involved.

We received over 1,000 responses and it’s been fantastic to be out in our communities hearing your thoughts, ideas, and concerns.

We’re now going through all of the feedback. Once that’s done, we’ll share a summary so everyone can see what people said and how it will guide the next steps.

• a more detailed summary of comment
• a draft “Publication Version” Local Plan (Regulation 19) for consideration by full Council in July 2026.
