Some top tips:
- Do not leave your social value submission to the last minute! It can take time to pull together the evidence required for your submission and create log ins for the Social Value Portal.
- Make sure you read the guidance documents and watch the guidance videos provided – they will greatly help you understand the process and improve the quality of your submission.
- Please remember that if successful all Social Value offers you have submitted will be contractualised and form part of you overall delivery contract – you will be expected to provide regular updates on your social value delivery as part of your ongoing contract management process.
- Please ensure that any Social Value offers made relate directly to the contract being offered and do not include activity you would undertake regardless of winning this tender or not (e.g. general corporate social responsibility activities do not count – see tender guidance documents on how you can ‘attribute’ corporate social responsibility activities)
