Appeals

Find out how to appeal and ask for a review if your DFG application has been refused.

If your DFG application has not been considered or refused you can ask us to review the decision. The request must be submitted in writing within 28 days of the date of the decision letter.

We will review the decision and write to you to tell you what we find and give you a final decision. If you are unhappy with the review decision, you have the right to make a complaint or contact the Local Government Ombudsman.

Any departure from Policy will only be considered where you can demonstrate exceptional circumstances and do not have the means to otherwise fund and undertake the work.

Complaints about service delivery must be made to us. We will investigate the complaint following our complaints procedure.
