The aim is to all work towards a coordinated and accelerated actions to help tackle climate change in Torbay
The Torbay Climate Partnership (TCP) was formed in 2021. There are many key organisations across Torbay working together. These are from all sectors including:

Matt Green, Head of Commercial Services and Sustainability at South Devon College, has been chosen for the Torbay Climate Partnership, a partnership of public, private, community and voluntary organisations, including Torbay Council, working together in Torbay to address climate change.
As well as heading up sustainability at the College Matt also sits on the UNESCO Geopark Management Group locally and is the current Chair of the Environmental Association of Universities and Colleges (EAUC) FE Network of Further Education in UK.
Matt said: “The Torbay Climate Partnership’s Action Plan – ‘Greener Way for our Bay’ – is a coordinated local approach to tackle climate change.
“I want to focus on local sustainability, working with key stakeholders to continuously improve our sustainability approach.”

The idea is for everyone in Torbay to support the TCP and its aims. We want to make sure everyone does their bit to tackle climate change. The TCP is currently made up of the following member organisations:
