Each school has an admissions policy which tells you what they do if they have more applications than places.
The admission arrangements for schools within Torbay have been agreed by the governing body /academy trust (for voluntary aided schools, foundation schools and academies) or by us (for voluntary controlled and community schools).

Objections
If you think that a school’s admission arrangements are unlawful or not in compliance with the School Admissions Code can make an objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator. Objections must be made before 15 May.
Any decision of the adjudicator must be acted on by us and admission arrangements amended accordingly.
