In Torbay we offer a blood pressure monitor loan scheme at all four libraries. Anyone can borrow one for with their library card.
If you don’t have a card ready, you can easily set one up and borrow a monitor along with your favourite books.

Know Your Numbers is a national campaign that runs every year encouraging everyone to get their blood pressure checked and know their numbers.
This year the campaign runs from Monday 7 September to Sunday 13 September. The theme for this year is “You know your age, do you know your numbers?” encouraging people aged 20 to 80 to get their blood pressure checked.
You can also get your blood pressure checked at the Brixham Health and Wellbeing Festival at the Methodist Hall in Fore Street later this month. The festival is running from Thursday 17 September to Sunday 20 September.
Mayfield Pharmacy staff will be doing checks there on Saturday 19 September and Sunday 20 September from 10:30am to 4pm.
