- From Youngs Park and Quay West car parks follow the path towards the beach and turn left once on the promenade

Route to beach South
- From Youngs Park and Quay West car parks follow the path towards the beach and turn right once on the promenade
- Access to the beach is via a few steps or ramps
- Distance from car park is approx. 100m
- From Cliff Park Road car park turn right out of the car park and walk down under the railway bridge. Bear left onto the promenade.

- Central: Open all year, including disabled facilities
- South Beach: Seasonal (April to Oct)

Dogs
Banned from beach 1 May to 30 September on South Beach. Dogs on the promenade must be on leads at all times. Dogs may be exercised on North Sands beach all year.Disabled access

Good - access is easy, level areas throughout.Facilities
The South beach has disabled toilet facilities, open all year. An accessible ramp and beach matting will be in place from 1 April to 30 September each year, weather permitting.
