What information do we need?

We only need your name, contact details, car registration and vehicle type.

Why we need it?

We need this information so we can contact you about your booking and provide you with a booking reference. We also need this so we can confirm that you are the person who made the booking when you arrive at your allocated time.

Our lawful basis for collecting this information is that it is necessary for a task carried out in the public interest or the exercise of official authority carried out by the Council and SWISCo.

Do we share your information?

No. The information you provide will only be available to Council and SWISCo staff who will check your booking when you arrive at the Household Waste and Recycling Centre.

Outside of this your personal data will only be shared with your consent unless we are required to share your data for law enforcement purposes.

How long do we keep your information?

We will only keep your personal data for 1 year after your booking date. After this time it will be securely destroyed.
