From 1 December residents and visitors can enjoy a 1.5-mile route that has glittering and unexpected surprises along the way. You can follow the route in either direction.
Free and accessible, our fantastic new attraction can be enjoyed by all ages.
Light installations will guide you along the route between Torre Abbey, Torquay seafront, Fleet Street and into the town centre.
The first of its kind trail for Torquay runs daily from 4:30pm, with sound elements until 9:30pm and the lighting until 11pm. The display will run until 3 January 2024.
Come together with family and friends this Christmas to enjoy some glittering Christmas magic.
Look out for information on our social media pages about special entertainment walkabouts and other surprises on selected nights.
We’d love to see your photos of you enjoying the trail tag us using #BayofLights #EnglishRiviera.
The Bay of Lights Illumination Trail has been designed to be a visual attraction. When walking and enjoying the trail, please refrain from touching any of the installations and causing any damage to flower beds or trees along the route. Damage caused to any of the installations may prevent others from fully enjoying the trail. Thank you in advance for your support and co-operation.
At installation nine along the trail, you’ll find a selection of pop-up food and drink vendors, which are open daily from 4pm. There's also plenty of local businesses along the route that can also be enjoyed either before or after walking the trail.
