Future of Adult Social Care in Torbay

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (TSDFT) held their Board meeting last night where the future of the integrated partnership for the delivery of health and Adult Social Care was discussed. At their meeting the TSDFT Board did agree that they will be giving formal notice on the partnership at the end of March 2026, which means from April 2027 the Council will take back the responsibility for delivering Adult Social Care.
