Annual sculpture trail to bring a touch of movie magic to Cockington Court this summer

News Release PR9552 - published on 27 July 2026

Cockington Court's annual sculpture trail is returning for its eighth year, and all are invited!

The free sculpture trail, which is one of Cockington Court's most popular events, is a celebration of creativity and local artists, and this year visitors of all ages are invited to come and discover over 30 sculptures - all inspired by the magic of the movies!

This year's trail will be open daily from Sunday 2 August to Sunday 1 November 2026, 10.30am to 4.30pm. To take part, collect a free map from inside the Manor House, follow the trail as it leads you around the Manor House, craft studios and beautiful grounds of the Cockington estate and tick off all the sculptures that you spot!

There's more information about the trail on Cockington Court's website.

Councillor Jackie Thomas, Torbay Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture and Events, and Corporate Services, said:

"The sculpture trail has been going from strength to strength over recent years and it's fantastic to see it continue to inspire local artists and makers and bring even more creativity to Cockington Court. It's a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy and connect with art and local culture in a beautiful setting and I hope lots of you will visit over the coming months."
