Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) are made to control the flow of traffic and make sure that people park safely and conveniently. They can only be introduced following the appropriate legal process.

The following TROs are currently being proposed in Paignton:

Objections or support

If you would like to object to, or support the above proposals you must write to the address specified in the Notice of Proposals for the proposed TRO. They must be received by the date specified.

Substantial objections or contentious issues are then reported to the Transport Working Party Committee for their consideration.  When considering the objections the committee must decide

  1. to proceed with the scheme as advertised,
  2. modify the scheme, or
  3. abandon the scheme.
