We are responsible for 73 areas which include playgrounds, fitness equipment trails, skate parks, BMX tracks and multi use games areas (MUGA). It is the responsibility of the Council to maintain and inspect all leisure facilities assessing risk and responding to any issues as appropriate.
To aid in this we have created a Playground Risk Management Policy which outlines how we inspect these facilities, how the level of risk is determined and how we will respond to these outcomes.
