A local group interested in supporting autistic people created the Devon Autism Card.
The card allows the holder to inform others that they are autistic. They can then change how they interact with the holder. It is useful in lots of situations including dealing with:
- emergency services
- medical professionals
- members of the public
This card is free. It is available to anyone living in Devon or Cornwall who identifies as Autistic. A formal diagnosis is not required.
