The Department of Health and Social Care have announced a 5% uplift to the Funded Nursing Care rate for 2023/24 from £209.19 to £219.71.

The Trust and the Council acknowledge that the rate paid to providers for Outreach services falls short of the amount required to provide a good quality service. From 1 April 2023 a flat rate of £21.94 will be paid for these services where providers support clients in their own homes.

We acknowledge that the rates paid to providers for enabling services fall short of the amount required to provide a good quality service. From 1 April 2023 a flat rate of £21.94 will be paid for these services regardless of the 2022/23 rate. This equates to an average of 17% increase across the enabling market. Any contracts already above this rate will not receive an inflationary uplift in 2023/24
Rates below the Living Well at Home Framework rate of £24.36 will be uplifted by 6% up to a maximum of £24.36. Rates already above the Living Well at Home rate will not receive an inflationary uplift in 2023/24.
Rates below the Supported Living Framework rate of £19.09 will be uplifted by 6% up to a maximum of £19.09. Rates already above the Framework rate will not receive an inflationary uplift in 2023/24.
Services including day care, shared lives and live in care will be uplifted by 6%.
