About the Youth Hub

The Torbay Youth Hub, funded via the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and delivered by Eat That Frog CIC, brings together employment, skills, training, and wellbeing support in one friendly, accessible space. The mission is to help eligible young people on Universal Credit overcome barriers, build confidence and move closer to employment or further learning.

What support is available?

Eat That Frog’s Youth Hub is a youth -friendly one -stop shop that brings together everything you need in one place.

You can get face-to-face support with jobs and careers, mental health, housing, money, digital skills and everyday independence, all under one roof.

The tailored support for 16 to 24-year-olds includes:

  • Job search help and access to local vacancies
  • Apprenticeship and traineeship pathways
  • Training and skills development
  • Work experience opportunities
  • Volunteering and community placements
  • Advice on self-employment-employment
  • Support with CVs, interviews, and applications
  • On-going support for the first 12 weeks of a job

Who can join?

The Hub is for 16 to 24-year-olds living in Torbay who want support moving towards work, education or training and who may be facing barriers like low confidence, mental health challenges, housing worries or lack of experience.

Young people must live in Torbay, be aged 16 to 24 and on Universal Credit to access support. If you’re interested, then please speak to your Work Coach first to check that you’re eligible.
