If you change your name, significantly change your appearance or move either to or from the Torbay area then you need to tell us.
If you change your address you will need to notify us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org attaching proof of your new address in one of the forms of acceptable evidence (Rental Agreement, Council Tax Bill, Utility Bill, Driving Licence, NHS Medical Card). Please note, you must notify us of any address changes 8 weeks prior to your card expiring. Failing to do so may result in your card being sent out incorrectly during the automatic renewal process (for Senior card holders only). If this happens please be aware you will be charged the £10 for reissuing a card. If you are moving out of Torbay, you need to surrender your bus pass, and apply for a new bus pass to the Local Authority in the area which you are moving to.
If your circumstances change, so that you are no longer eligible please return your pass.
If your appearance has changed significantly from the picture on your pass you will need to email us a new photo at email@example.com quoting your name, address, current bus pass number and date of birth. We will update our records with the new picture which will be used during the automatic renewals process (for Senior card holders only). You don't need to wait until the renewal date to do this.
Change of name
If you change your name you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your old name, your new name, address, current bus pass number and date of birth. You will need to provide official documentation in support of this change, to enable a new pass to be issued in your correct name free of charge.
The Older Person’s bus pass automatically renews approximately 8 weeks in advance (providing the current pass has been used within the past 12 months). If you have not used your bus pass within the past 12 months but would still like a replacement pass, please email email@example.com quoting your name, address, current bus pass number and date of birth.
The Disabled Person’s bus pass are manually renewed and as some medical conditions change over time, you will need to provide current evidence of your continuing eligibility. Please ensure your familiarise yourself with the criteria detailed within these pages prior to completing your online application.
