Apply to work on a council owned tree

We assess each request to prune a tree which is Council owned on its individual merits.

We do not have unlimited resources. Budget pressures mean that we are unable to carry out all works as quickly as we would like to.

In some cases, the person reporting the issue may wish to prune the tree at their own expense. We have a Permit to Work scheme where we grant permission to carry out works to trees owned by the Council.

Applications

Return the form to Parks and Green Infrastructure with details of:

• the proposed works
• the contractor doing the work
• a copy of the Public Liability Insurance

Please note we may not accept applications without agents’ details
