Torbay climate partnership

The Torbay Climate Partnership (TCP) was formed in 2021. There are many key organisations across Torbay working together. These are from all sectors including:

  • public
  • private
  • community
  • voluntary

The TCP was set up after our Community Conference in 2021. South Devon College hosted the conference and it focused on climate change.

The aim is to all work towards a Carbon Neutral Torbay by 2030.

Action plan

The TCP is working together to develop a Carbon Neutral Torbay Action Plan.

We held themed Climate Conversation events in May 2022. Our communities, businesses and young people put forward ideas on how we can become carbon neutral.

We then held a public event in July 2022 where we talked about these ideas.

The TCP will now put together the Action Plan using some of these ideas. We will then have a full public consultation on the action plan in Autumn/Winter 2022.

Membership of the TCP
