The free event is organised by our Economy Team in partnership with Job Centre Plus, as is open to any residents looking for work, education and skills courses, and for more information about local job opportunities.

We're looking for local employers with live vacancies from a variety of sectors and industries to take part!
With hundreds of jobseekers expected to be in attendance, it's the perfect opportunity for local businesses to recruit face-to-face and connect directly with potential candidates.
The deadline to book a free stand at the Torbay Jobs Fair is 5pm on Friday 25 September.
Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, seasonal or temporary work, the Jobs Fair is a great opportunity for you to meet with employers face-to-face, discuss current vacancies and make valuable connections.
It's open to all, regardless of age, qualifications or experience. All you need to do is bring your CV!
With a range of local employers and skills providers set to attend the event this year, there'll be hundreds of opportunities on offer across a range of sectors and industries. There will also be information about the employment, education and training support available to help you achieve your goals.
Job Centre Plus will also be on hand to offer job application and CV advice, and our Economy Team will also be there to offer business start-up, and self- employment guidance.
For those looking for support to find or stay in work, members of Torbay's Connect to Work scheme will also be attending. Connect to Work is a supported employment programme that helps people facing complex barriers to finding or staying in employment, to get into work.
