Livermead Beach and Torbay Road Closure
Update - 10 April 2013
Warning signs were in place at Meadfoot Beach while further water quality tests were carried out. The results received earlier today (Wednesday) confirm that the water quality at Meadfoot is excellent, and there is now no effect on sea water quality at the beaches from the discharges last week. The signs at Meadfoot have now been removed.
Livermead beach still remains closed for safety reasons while the previously planned maintenance work is carried out.

Oddicombe Beach Closure
Update - 3 April 2013
Following further recent rockfalls at Little Oddicombe, we would remind people to avoid the area affected by the landslips. We have been advised by a geologist that further activity can be expected, so it is important that members of the public heed the warnings.

So whether you’re after a place to lay out your towel, build sandcastles, have a gentle paddle, explore a rock pool or just a quiet place to sit, you’re sure to find a beach to suit. For information on Torbay's Beaches please see our Guide to Beaches in Torbay
