Meet Torbay’s Fostering team at Armed Forces Day and the Caribbean Family Fun Day

There will be the chance to meet members of our Fostering team at two upcoming local community events.

If you are thinking of becoming a Foster Carer there will be the chance to meet members of our Fostering team at two upcoming local community events.

Armed Forces Day – Saturday 22 June

Armed Forces Day, run by Torbay Armed Forces and Breakfast Club, is on Saturday 22 June at North Esplanade Road, Paignton, TQ4 6BW from 10.30am to 11pm (Fostering team will be there until 5.30pm). There will be a full day of entertainment in the Marquee with a bar, parade at 11am from Paignton Harbour to kick the day off, and stalls on the green ranging from military displays to craft stalls, food, military charities and more. There will also be a bouncy castle, Veteran Bikers, and children’s rides. Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to thank our Armed Forces, Veterans and families.

Caribbean Family Fun Day – Sunday 23 June

Caribbean Family Fun Day, run by Miss Ivy Events, is on Sunday 23 June at Lupton House, Brixham, TQ5 0LD from 10am to 4pm (Fostering team will be there until 5.30pm). There will be Caribbean street food, children’s entertainment, gift stalls, rum and cocktail bar, dancing, drum workshops, band and much more.
