Motorists are advised that there will be some delays this week due to resurfacing work taking place in Torquay.

The work is taking place at the Newton Road junction of Shiphay Lane from Monday 23 November through to Friday 27 November.

Cormac Contracting is carrying out the work on behalf of Torbay Council.

Councillor Mike Morey, Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Environment and Culture for Torbay Council, said: “As part of our continuous commitment to structural maintenance across the Bay, these works are necessary and need to be carried out. We are aware these works will be disruptive to residents in the area. We will work with our contractor to minimise the disruption as much as possible.”
