Executive Lead for Planning, Transport and Housing, Councillor Mark King, said: “These works which take place annually are important to ensure that our roads and footways stay safe for everyone that uses them. Please allow extra travel time if you are using any of the affected roads as there may be some delays.”

The works will be carried out with either two way traffic lights or road closures. Residents will be informed in advance by signs and letter drops, which will confirm the dates for the work and how traffic will be controlled. Information will be provided by our partner contractor CORMAC Construction Ltd.

Details of all highways maintenance can be found on the Roadworks page.
