The rates you pay on your business property depend on its rateable value. This is calculated by the Valuation Office Agency (VOA).

If you think your rates are wrong you can:

  • Check your details
  • Compare your valuation details with other properties, e.g. to see how much similar premises are being charged
  • Request changes to your valuation details if they’re wrong
