View your benefits account

If you sign up for a My Torbay account you’ll be able to view copies of your

• benefit notifications
• council tax support documents
• details awards and reductions
• a list of previous and future payments

To do this you must link your My Torbay account with your benefits account. Visit my.torbay.gov.uk to sign in to your account and follow these steps:

1. in the left-hand navigation click on 'my accounts and claims'
2. choose to link your Council Tax and benefits account
3. enter your title
4. your name and postcode will be prefilled from your My Torbay account profile
5. enter your National Insurance number and claim number
6. make sure all the details you give match your claim exactly
7. click the next button

This will now link your Council Tax and Benefits accounts to your My Torbay account. When logged in to your My Torbay account chose 'My accounts and claims' to view your account(s) at any time.
