Creating an account

Find out how to register and set up a My Torbay account.

You can set up your My Torbay account in just a few minutes. Once you have registered you can access a range of council services online.

Before you start

You'll need an email account to register for a My Torbay account. If you don’t have an email address, there are a number of free email providers on the internet.


Visit to register for an account and follow these steps:

  1. Click on sign up now
  2. Enter your email address - you will be sent a verification code to your email address
  3. Check your email for the verification code
  4. Go back to the registration form and enter the code 
  5. Complete the rest of the registration form:
        • choose your password
        • enter your name
        • enter your postcode and choose your address from the dropdown list
        • enter your date of birth
  6. Click on create my account

You will be taken to your account dashboard to access forms, accounts and details of your councillors.

You can update your account details anytime by going to 'Your Name' in the top right and then 'My Profile'.
