Our lucky winner of a pair of annual memberships to Torre Abbey Museum is Mr Jones from Brixham, as he registered for the Torbay Lottery by Saturday 27 May 2017.

Mr Jones is the company secretary of the Friends of the Vigilance of Brixham, which is one of the Torbay Lottery good causes.  He joined the lottery to help support this local charity. The Vigilance is the last trawler built in Brixham in 1926 and operates out of Brixham, to find our more visit www.vigilanceofbrixham.co.uk.

Talking about his win, Mr Jones said: “It is great that the Vigilance is receiving support through the Torbay Lottery. We have sold 66 tickets so far and hope to sell more tickets to help us keep the Vigilance on the sea. I am really pleased to have won the tickets to Torre Abbey Museum. I have previously visited the Abbey for ceramic exhibitions and other events and it will be good to see what is planned there over the next 12 months.”

More than 88 causes have now signed up and the Torbay Lottery is on track to raise a total of more than £44k in its first year. There are 685 players currently signed up to the Torbay Lottery and to date 1438 tickets have been bought.

Draws will take place every Saturday night - for your chance to scoop up to £25,000 go to www.torbaylottery.co.uk/results.
