Residents and visitors are invited to experience the magic of the theatre this summer at Cockington Court, with three performances from award-winning Illyria Outdoor Theatre planned.
From a Shakespearean comedy to swashbuckling action and a much-loved family favourite, Cockington's summer theatre programme has something for everyone to enjoy - all performed in a beautiful outdoor setting.

As You Like It
Sunday 5 July at 6.30pm
Shakespeare's classic comedy explores love in all its guises as four pairs of soul mates meet in the mysterious Forest of Arden. Experience a memorable performance filled with love, laughter and romance under the stars!
Pinocchio
Wednesday 29 July at 6.30pm
One of the world's most translated books, and a popular favourite, celebrate this magical coming-of-age tale in a thrilling musical outdoor show. It follows the chaos and excitement of Pinocchio's adventures. Can Pinocchio become a real boy when even lies told to cover up awkward truths are as plain as the nose on his face?
The Three Musketeers
Thursday 3 September at 6.30pm
All for One; One for All! Young D’Artagnan is desperate to join Athos, Porthos and Aramis as an elite Musketeer of the King’s Guard, plunging headlong into a breathlessly thrilling adventure to prove himself. With romance, betrayal, intrigue and lots of swashbuckling action - this performance of The Three Musketeers has it all!
Visitors should bring their own blankets or outdoor chairs. The Seven Dials café will be open throughout for refreshments, but visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic to enjoy as well.
Councillor Jackie Thomas, Torbay Council's Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture and Events, and Corporate Services, said:
"Cockington Court's outdoor theatre programme is a wonderful celebration of culture and creativity, and I'm delighted to see it return again this summer. This year's performances promise plenty of fun and entertainment for all ages and hope many of you will visit Cockington Court this summer to enjoy them!"

Why not make a day of it and explore everything that Cockington has to offer? Visit the talented artists and creative makers in their studios, take in the Clay and Sticks exhibition which runs until the end of June, or enjoy one of the many dog-friendly walks around the estate.
