Cockington Court is set to sparkle this winter with a magical programme of seasonal events and experiences, all in the beautiful setting of Cockington Court and its creative studios.
From Artisan Markets to Christmas Storytelling experiences with a twist, there promises to be something to delight visitors of all ages!
Artisan Market
Sunday 14 December (11am to 4pm).
Come and explore a curated selection of artisan, handmade products from small businesses and local artists at Cockington Court’s Artisan Market. A perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a special gift, and to support some fantastic local businesses and creators.
‘Dino-roars’ Christmas storytelling experience
Sunday 14 December (pre-booked slots between 11am and 4pm).
There’s also a seasonal surprise in store for families, with a ‘Dino-Roars’ Christmas Storytelling experience which will mark the close of Cockington’s prehistoric-themed year. Perfect for both children and their parents, this special event blends the magic of the holidays, with the wonder of the prehistoric past.
Timed slots are available to book between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 14 December, and tickets are £4.50 per person (adults and children). A festive storytelling like no other, expect laughter, imagination, and plenty of festive dinosaur surprises!

The Big Christmas Weekend (tenant-led by Cockington Makers CIC)
Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November.
Cockington’s craft makers are also coming together to organise the very first Christmas Weekend, complete with Santa in the Clouds interactive grotto experience for families, hot food and craft stalls, and festive treats for all ages.
The event is taking place at the Sea Change and Stable Yard studios, and in front of the Manor House, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November.

Sunday 23 November to Monday 23 February (11am to 4pm).
Visitors can also explore the, ‘Giving and living’ home interior and gift buying exhibition which will be running which also starts this week on Sunday 23 November.
It’s a free artisan craft exhibition celebrating the beauty of handmade home décor, and locally made gifts. Whether you are looking to elevate your home space, or find a thoughtful gift for a loved one, the exhibition promises to inspire and delight.
Councillor Jackie Thomas, Torbay Council Cabinet Member for Tourism, Culture and Events, and Corporate Services, said:

Christmas opening hours at Cockington Court
Alongside the winter events, the Manor House, gallery, café and shop will be open as usual leading up to Christmas. There’s more information available on the Cockington Court website.
