From artisan markets to dazzling light shows, family fun, and creative workshops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in the Abbey's historic setting.
The festivities begin with the Winter Fest Artisan Market, where you can discover unique, handcrafted gifts, and seasonal treats inside the stunning Spanish Barn. Across two weekends (29 to 30 November and 6 to 7 December - 11am to 8pm), stalls will be brimming with local treasures and one-of-a-kind gifts you won’t find on the high street. It’s the perfect way to find that special present while soaking up the festive atmosphere.
Torbay Council will also be sharing historic photographs of the Barn through the years and exploring ideas for its future. Come and talk to the team at WinterFest about how they can make this unique space easier to access. The aim is for to be enjoyed and hired for a wide range of events, while preserving its important heritage. Your ideas can help shape the next chapter for Torre Abbey New Beginnings.
As night falls, Torre Abbey will come alive with light. From 28 November to 2 January, marvel at the Alive with Light projection show, illuminating the Abbey every evening from 4:30pm to 11pm. This dazzling display creates a magical backdrop for festive celebrations and is a must-see part of the wider Bay of Lights experience.
