We are holding our next resident engagement event on Saturday 27 January 2024 in St Marychurch precinct. The event is focused on the current consultation for the proposed budget for 2024/2025, as well as any other issues people wish to discuss.

We are holding our next resident engagement event on Saturday 27 January 2024 in St Marychurch precinct. The event stand will be in the pedestrianised area, from 10am to 4pm.

The event is focused on the current consultation for the proposed budget for 2024/2025, as well as any other issues people wish to discuss.

These events are essential in helping capture feedback on consultations, as well as any changes to polices and services. It’s also a chance to hear directly about any concerns and issues at the local level.

Cllr David Thomas, Leader of Torbay Council, said: "We understand that Council budget paperwork is often difficult to understand. Our in-person engagement events allow us to listen to our residents and provide clarity on our plans for the future.

“I’d encourage anyone who lives or works in the bay to come along to the event and have a chat to fully understand what we are trying to do and, more importantly, what it means to you.”

People can find out more about the proposed budget, and how to have their say, on the consultation pages of the council website or at yoursay.torbay.gov.uk.
