Due to Storm Ciaran, individual schools in Torbay have contacted parents and carers to advise of school closures today and any new closures are also being added to the Torbay Council website as and when these decisions are made.

Although some other local authorities have advised blanket school closures, schools in Torbay were advised that decisions to close should be made in line with the current warning, weather forecast and the situation at the point at which children, parents/carers and staff would be required to travel.

Individual schools advise parents through their usual channels of any closures and we are updating the School Closures webpage as and when we get confirmation from individual schools.
