The Eastern Esplanade at Paignton Green has had to be temporarily closed between Paignton Pier and Paignton Club to allow concrete repair works to take place at the Shoreline Restaurant. Pedestrian and cycle access remains available.

A compound has been established to contain the works at the restaurant. They are due to last 2-3 weeks. The road and parking will be opened to the public at weekends.

Vehicular access for parking on the Eastern Esplanade from the Pier towards Preston is unaffected by the closure.
