Torbay Council is inviting providers to tender for a new 0-19 service. This tender opportunity is open until 16 July 2018.
From 2019-2024, Torbay Council will be investing £18.5million in a new 0-19 years’ service which will build on people’s individual and community strengths and give children and young people in Torbay the best start in life.
The new 0-19 service is built on the principles of participation and partnership with children, families and communities. It will work preventatively to develop resilience, keep children safe and well physically and emotionally and support them for life and learning.
Executive Lead, Cllr Jackie Stockman, said: “We have done a lot of work to gain feedback from parents, families, young people and children on how they would like see services for children, young people and families in Torbay coordinated and delivered. We want the service to be the best it possibly can be and serve the needs of our Torbay families and we are now inviting bids to tender for the new 0-19 service.”
