Torbay Lottery has been up and running for two months with five draws taking place over the past few Saturdays.

The Torbay Council initiative is on target to raise approximately £48k for local good causes over the next year. Some groups are doing really well; the top two beneficiaries are currently Friends of the Vigilance of Brixham (£1,950) and Downsouth Down’s Syndrome Support (£1,586). These are perfect examples of how Torbay Lottery is already helping the community.

It’s not too late to join in. Find a cause that’s close to your heart (there are currently 90 to choose from) and start making a difference to a group on your doorstep. You’ll also be in with a chance of winning £25k or one of a range of other cash prizes. Over 160 tickets have already won prizes through the lottery.

If you sign up before 1 September you will be entered into a special prize draw to win two tickets to the International Agatha Christie Festival on 16 and 17 September. This will give you full access for all the activities, talks, performances, music, films and exhibitions. For more information about the festival visit www.iacf-uk.org.
