Are you passionate about making a difference in your community and want to find out more about how you can use your skills to benefit others?

On Tuesday 2 June, from 11am till 2pm, Paignton Library will be hosting an open house Volunteer Fair. A wide range of charities and organisations, that depend on volunteer support, are coming together to recruit new members who have time to donate their time to the community.

Torbay Libraries and Torre Abbey Historic House and Gardens are among the organisations and charities that will be present as they are keen to grow their existing volunteer teams. Those already volunteering will be on hand throughout the day to talk about why they enjoy volunteering and how others can get involved.

Charities and organisations which will be in attendance on the day also include:

Age UK Torbay
Citizens Advice Bureau
Crossroads Care
Hannahs
Healthwatch Torbay
Kents Cavern Foundation
Stroke Survivors Support Group
Torbay Community Development Trust

Entrance to the event is free and there will be tea and coffee available during the day.
