The Mayor's Forum - working together for a brighter Bay

Torbay residents, organisations and businesses are invited to attend the sixth Mayor's Forum, which is taking place on Tuesday 30 September in Torquay.

Torbay residents, organisations and businesses are invited to attend the sixth Mayor's Forum, which is taking place on Tuesday 30 September in Torquay.

Hosted by Torbay Mayor Gordon Oliver, the evening event at the Riviera International Conference Centre will give everyone the opportunity to hear about new projects and future plans being carried out by the council and its partners.

The forum will cover presentations on the Abbey Sands development, The Torbay Community Development Trust's Do Ageing Better project, the new Velopark, the City Deal, the Coastal Communities Fund bid, procurement and the successful Geopark conference bid. The Police and Crime Commissioner, Tony Hogg will also be a guest speaker

Mayor Oliver said: "I look forward to welcoming anyone with an interest in the future prosperity of Torbay to come along to this public meeting.

"Since 2011 I have worked on significant projects to attract new jobs, investment and events into Torbay for the benefit of our residents and visitors. This Forum will highlight some of the latest projects being carried in the Bay." 

The Mayor's Forum will take place in the Rosetor Room,  Riviera International Conference Centre between 5.pm and 9pm.
