Through spring, Deborah Cordon is welcoming her neighbours into her home - to the Write2Read Lounge - to share thoughts, memories and images, and to collaborate on writing projects that change perceptions of their neighbourhood.

Get-togethers will be happening 3 days a week, in a big lounge, in a small house, in a long street near Hele. The work produced by the local community will be shared in a joyful, wordy, colourful exhibition.

If something can be written on or in, we will write it: buckets, spades, deckchairs, postcards, bunting, palm leaves. If something makes marks or doodles, we will use it: pens, pencils, burnt sticks, paints, fingers.
