Participate Arts, along with local residents of all ages in the Winner Street area of Paignton, are celebrating the neighbourhood’s heritage and promoting kind-heartedness. During Spring 2019 they are inviting local children, residents of care homes and families to investigate these ideas in an exciting programme of arts activity, connecting together the imaginations of younger and older, exploring local stories and histories, and cultural images of Torbay as a visitor destination.  

The community are seeking out and sharing ideas on how to deliver Neighbourhood Kindness Actions. Coming together in creative activity and dialogues, people involved will be able to re-imagine their local street or neighbourhood and contribute to a series of new artworks. Inspired by the idea of kindness, the work will illustrate the heart of this community, bringing new cultural focus to the area.
