Taking inspiration from our English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, exquisite cliff projections will connect people with the significance of our environment, bringing it to life with imagery that explores the evolution of our world and its future. Cliff surfaces see organic patterns transforming into creatures and new forms, connecting locations through the interplay of light and image.

What will future geologists learn about the "Age of Humans" when they discover the information we leave behind in layers of rocks?

Limbic Cinema are exploring how information from our landscape (and humans’ impact on this landscape) can be visually represented by shapes, textures and forms. The visuals that emerge will represent the stories and information that resides in the geological strata. Individual bits of information may seem insignificant on their own, but when they combine together, the patterns they create tell us meaningful stories that can re-shape the way we think about the world around us.

This ‘conversation’ with light and image between Rock Walk and Corbyn Head makes visible the imagined stories of our UNESCO Global Geopark, and our communities’ relationship with the natural world.
