Description
This is a permanent Statutory body established by the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority (Combined Scheme) Order 2006, made in exercise of powers conferred by the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004. The Authority is a body corporate constituted for the purposes of discharging fire and rescue authority functions for the combined areas of (former) Devon Fire Authority and Somerset County Council.
