Gambling Statement of Principles 2013

The Gambling Statement of Principles is written as a requirement of the Gambling Act 2005. It lays down how Torbay Council will address the issues that are raised through the Gambling Act, most notably the principles that will apply during the licensing of gambling premises. It will also advise on the procedures and criteria to be applied to the Small Casino bidding process.

Reason for inclusion in Forward Plan: To review the policy to bring the policy up to date for 2013.

Key Risks: The key risk is the need for the policy to be printed and published by early 2013 as this is a statutory requirement.
