Free 10 minutes parking outside local shops
We the undersigned petition the council to Amend parking rules to allow 10 minutes free parking at existing pay to park spaces outside local shops, with no return in any 2 hour period.
This would encourage more use of smaller local businesses which do not have car parking. A case could also be made that it would also reduce road miles travelled by people who would otherwise drive further for free parking out of town.
