The reasons are as follows:-

1. The detrimental effect it will cause to current businesses in town.

2. The bulldozing of existing solid-well-built structures, when land for housing and development could be found cheaper elsewhere.

3. The Chaos and gridlock this will cause in the town with Lorries coming and going which will restrict the traffic flow.
