It was reported in accordance with the wishes of the Conservative Group that the membership of the Committee was amended for this meeting only by including Councillors Lang and Thomas (D) instead of Councillor Lewis and the Mayor.

To confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 17 July 2015.

The minutes of the meeting of the Employment Committee held on 17 July 2015 were confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

Prior to consideration of the items in Minute 13 the press and public were formally excluded from the meeting on the grounds that the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Members finalised and agreed the job description and terms and conditions of employment for the Director of Joint Commissioning (draft working title of Director of People).
