Decision:

That the application for a Premises Licence in respect of Torbay Beer Ltd. Office 5, Dainton Self Storage Yard, Torre Station Yard, Torquay be granted as applied for.

Reason for Decision:

Having carefully considered all the written and oral representations, Members resolved that in light of the business operating under Temporary Events Notices for six months without any complaints, the explanation from the Applicant that it was a delivery only service and members of the public would not have access to the yard and the conditions included within the application, the concerns of the member of the public in respect of the Prevention of Public Nuisance would be alleviated.  The Sub-Committee also had regard to the fact that no representations were received from any of the Responsible Authorities and as such, was satisfied that the Licensing Objectives would not be undermined by the grant of this licence.
