NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Torbay intends to dispose of land by lease totaling approximately 33,719 m² of land at Barton Downs, Torquay which consists or forms part of an open space. The area of land is for identification purposes shown edged red on the plan number EM4238c.

The plan is available for inspection on the Torbay Council website (torbay.gov.uk), and by site notices at the location. This notice is given insofar as the land consists or forms part of an open space.

The public should be aware that the Council acting in its capacity as landowner, is minded to grant a lease for community football activities.  The Council considers that a proposed lease will support continued public and community use of the space generally and enhance local sports provision.

Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to Torbay Council, Estates Department, Tor Hill House, Union Street, TQ2 5QW or may be sent via email to estates@torbay.gov.uk by no later than 17^th September.
