Land at Penn Meadows, Brixham, Devon - LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972, SECTION 123 (1), (2A) LAND AT PENN MEADOWS, BRIXHAM, DEVON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Torbay intends to dispose of the freehold interest in approximately 454.7m² of land at Penn Meadows, Brixham, Devon which consists or forms part of an open space. The area of land intended to be sold is for identification purposes shown edged red on the plan under title no. DN511259.
The plan is available for inspection on the Council website (torbay.gov.uk), and by site notices at the location. This notice is given insofar as the land consists or forms part of an open space, being for present purposes any land laid out or used for the purposes of public recreation.
The public should be aware that the Council acting in its capacity as land owner, is minded to dispose of the freehold interest in the land to Brixham Town Council, with the intention that the land will continue to be used as public open space.
Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to Estates Dept, Tor Hill House, Union Street, TQ2 5QW by 27 August 2026 or may be sent via email to estates@torbay.gov.uk by the above date.
